General Terms & Conditions
Please read our terms and conditions carefully. Reservations and Deposits · We do require a prepayment of 20% to hold your reservation. The amount will depend on the apartment being booked. For stays longer than 1 month this ammount could change. · Prepayment of the 20% for the reserve, should be made via credit card, o Bank transfer. The rest of the payment has to be done in cash upon arrival. · Please note that the booking will not be confirmed until apartments barcelona rent has received the pre-payment amount and you have received an e-mail with the confirmation. · If the payment selected is by means of a bank transfer, be shure that the NET amount (wire cost are on your side) is received in our bank account. To close the reserve as soon as possible we thank if you can send an e-mail o fax with a copy of the transfer. We will confirm the reserve as soon as we have received the transfer in our account bank. · For short stays ( 3 days) or special dates like the (easter, christmas,etc.) We could ask the total as prepayment · As a guarantee against damages a deposit ranging from 100€ to 300€ will be requested upon arrival and will be refunded in full the departure day, after inspection of the undamaged and the good condition of apartment by our apartment manager. Please check the deposit amount for the apartment you are booking in your contract. Payment · Once apartments barcelona rent has confirmed the availability of apartment, the client will have to pay a 20 percent of the total price of the stay by means of a credit card o Bank Transfer. · The rest of the price 80% of the stay in the apartment shall be paid by the client in CASH upon arrival (please remember, NO CASH, NO CHECK IN!). · If the payment is done with credit card there is an aditional charge de 1,5% Cancellation · If for any reason beyond your control, including great force the client cancels the reservation, there is a cancellation charge on the prepaid amounts that will depend on the number of days before the beginning of the rental period. - More than 30 days before arrival: 5% of the total amount. - 30 or less days before arrival: 50% of the total amount. - 7 days or less before arrival: 100% of the total amount. · In the event that the client changes the dates, it will be understood as a new stay and it shall be subject to the cancellation conditions, However we will do our best to provide an alternative apartment for the new reqiested dates. · It is strongly recommended that clients purchase trip cancellation insurance. Any cancellation, including great force, will be subject to our clear and simple cancellation policy stated herein.
Arrival and Departure from the apartment in Barcelona · The day of your arrival, the apartment will be available from 16:00 pm. If, for any reason, your arrival is earlier, please let us know in advance so we might try to accommodate you before. Please note that for arrivals later than 21:00 pm and up to 24:00 there is an extra-charge of 30€. For more details please read our Arrivals and departure section. Arivals after 24:00, can be accepted upon special request and special rates., · Please read the following steps in order to familiarize yourself with the arrival and departure process, like receiving the keys of the apartment or getting refunded your damage deposit upon departure from the apartment in Barcelona. 1. Together with the confirmation of your reservation, apartments barcelona rent will send you an email containing all the information you need for your arrival: • Location and address of apartment • Telephone number of apartments barcelona rent so that you can call in order confirm you arrival in Barcelona 2. You will be asked to reply as soon as possible with the time of your arrival in Barcelona so that the Apartments barcelona rent staff will be at the apartment door to meet you with the keys etc. 3. When you arrive to Barcelona we would ask you to call Apartments barcelona rent at the telephone number provided in the email to confirm your arrival time at the apartment. Please note; for late arrivals check the applicable rates. 4. When you arrive at the apartment i Barcelona, our staff will provide you with the following: • Keys for entry to the apartment • Walk through the apartment • Instruct you how to use equipment in the apartment like Air Conditioning, Washing Machine, and Cooker etc. • Explain any items specific to that neighbourhood, local grocery store location, directions to metro station or other information regarding the area in general. • Collect the remaining rental amount and the refundable deposit in cash. 5. During your stay at the apartment in Barcelona we ask you to contact Apartments barcelona rent IMMEDIATELY if you find anything missing or in bad condition or if you accidentally break anything so that we can fix or settle whatever it is. We want you to enjoy your stay and not be inconvenienced by something which can be fixed or replaced.
6. Contact us during business hours for anything like restaurant recommendations, directions from where you are if lost or just general questions regarding either the apartment or Barcelona.
7. Departure should be before 12 am if you require a later departure let us know in advance and we will try to accommodate you providing our next arrival is not early the same day. A member of our staff will be at the apartment at the concerted hour to. • Collect the apartment keys • Return the refundable deposit minus any damages which may have occurred.

Cleaning We clean the apartment prior to the arrival of each client. When leaving, the client is obliged to leave the apartment in a reasonable condition. Number and identity of the guests The client will inform to Apartments barcelona rent about the number of guests included within the booking. Unless otherwise agreed by apartments barcelona rent only the number of persons indicated by the client when booking shall be authorised to use the apartment. The number of persons who may use the apartment may not exceed the number of persons allocated for each apartment, except for children under two years of age. Pets are only allowed where permission has specifically been granted. In the event of any infringement of the aforementioned obligations, Apartments barcelona rent at its sole discretion will be entitled to request the client to leave the apartment, and the client shall have no right to claim any type of compensation. Behaviour The client signing the check in form will be liable for the correct and decent behaviour of all the persons accompanying him/her. Should that person, or any of the persons accompanying him/her not behave in a suitable and responsible way, Apartments barcelona rent shall be entitled to request the client and the persons accompanying him/her to leave the apartment without the right for the latter to claim any type of compensation. Liabilities · Nor Apartments barcelona rent nor the owner of the apartment shall be liable for any direct or indirect damages that may arise as a consequence of the use by the client of the apartment, including without limitation, damages, insurance, losses because of fires, robbery or criminal behaviour. · In case of any infringement of the aforementioned obligations, apartments barcelona rent at its sole discretion will be entitled to request the client to leave the apartment, and the client shall have no right to claim any type of compensation. · Should apartments barcelona rent be unable to provide to the client the apartment he has booked, we have the right to transfer you to another apartment of similar characteristics. · If no agreement can be reached for the alternative apartment, both contractual parties are authorised to cancel the contract. In this case we will refund to the client all paid ammount, (except the part corresponding to the days that the apartment was used, if this were the case). Apartments barcelona rent will not be liable for further claims by the client.

Whilst apartments barcelona rent do their utmost to maintain accuracy and to check details wherever possible, Apartments barcelona rent cannot be held liable for any errors or omissions that may arise. · Apartments barcelona rent also reserve the right to change information published on the site at any time including rates, descriptions and photographs. · Apartments barcelona rent makes no warranty or representation about the fitness or suitability of any product or service advertised on its web site. · Apartments barcelona rent reserves the right to update any of its terms and conditions at any time, to adapt them to the local legality and in line with the company's business. Is the customer responsability to ensure that they visit any such terms and conditions on a regular basis. By agreeing to use this site, it is implied that any such changes are accepted by any such third party and, that any such third party undertakes to comply with any such changes. These terms do not affect consumer statutory rights. BEHAVIOUR and Apartment rules - Please Read Carefully As a client, you are expected to respect the goods that pertain to the apartment and the community it belongs to. The apartment may not be used as a party space but that of an accommodation for sleeping, eating, relaxing, etc. Please look at the apartment rules thoroughly in order to avoid any problems. Our main objective is for the client to have a good experience in Barcelona. 1. Please don't smoke in the apartment. Smoke on the terrace if there is one or outside and please do not throw cigarette butts down into the street or patios. 2. Please respect our neighbours, most normally works and need to get up early every day so please respect the noise levels in the stairwells as well as in the apartments. Parties are not allowed. Quiet hours: Monday - Friday 22.00 to 9.00 Saturday - Sunday 24.00 to 10.00 3. Please turn off the air-conditioning or lights if you leave the apartment; we try to keep prices low and would like to conserve energy. 4. Tourist tip: please lock the doors securely behind you and only take what you need with you for the day as there are professional pick pockets in most tourist areas. 5. Please do not leave the garbage in the apartment when you check out. You can leave it on the street at dedicated containers, every night between 20.00 - 22.00, and it will be collected by sanitation personnel. 6. Please note that the check out time is at 12:00 as we need to clean the apartment from 12:00 to 16:00 prior to the next check-in (16.00 is the normal check in time). Let us know in advance if you need a later check out time.
